Introduction of Gypsum powder production process
Natural gypsum generally includes dihydrate gypsum and anhydrous gypsum. In order to get the valuable materials, generally, we get semi-hydrated gypsum through heating the dihydrate gypsum. Here is the process:
The calcined semi-hydrated gypsum powder can widely be used for plasterboard,decoration board, gypsum block, stucco gypsum, and molding gypsum, etc.

Production Process of gypsum powder
Crushing System
The crushing system can crush large ore from mine mining to an average granularity of 25 mm by one time, is an ideal version of traditional ways of two and three stage crushing.
Milling System
The mill system will make the gypsum particles into gypsum powder,through the combined action of analysis machine and fan, this mill can meet the fineness of grinding requirements from different users.
Calcinating System

Hot air boiling furnace & Thermal oil Boiling furnace Technology Comparison1 When you switch on and off the production line oftenly:
Thermal oil Technology: When you use this technology, the production line switch off, and he oil is still very hot, about 200 degrees The heat from the oil will take too much time to cool.
1) After machine off, the raw material stopped to add: during this cooling time, the heat of oil will be transferred to the exising gypsum powder inside of the furnace. So with too much heat, the powder will be burnt out.
2) When start again , when add some new raw gypsum, then the Calcined gypsum and raw gypsum will all be mixed together.
Then the finished gypsum powder is so uneven.
The oil total about 2-3 tons for one production line, with temperature of 200 degree. So when the production line switch off, all these heat will release to the gypsum powder in the boiling furnace. also the release time is very long.
This is why this technology, it is not suitable for some customers that often switch it on and off all the time.
Hot air technology: As when it switches off, It is warming rapidly, cooling faster. So this technology is easier for customers to switch on and off the production line often.
2 The danger of Thermal oil technology:
Sometimes if workers do not notice that the circulation pump of oil does not work, so the hot oil in the tube is heating all the time and not keep cycle status. In this situation, it will happen big explosion.
At beginning the tube of oil will not have leakage oil problem, but after several years of operation, the tube will be aging so it will leak oil and then the dangerous fire will happen in near future.
Regards hot air technology no need oil and such kind of problem will not happen, the whole equipment for hot air technology is easy and with less maintenance.
3 The gypsum powder industry development:
Before the 2010 year, thermal oil technology was mostly used in China. After 2010 year in China, more and more customer choose the hot air technology as their frist choice.
Both technology are very mature for gypsum powder production now .
4 For the thermal oil technology: It needs the thermal oil boiler and thermal oil. The boiler is one set of signal boiler, so after you receive it, it can be used directly, no need special treatment in your warehouse.
For the hot air technology, the combustion chamber, it needs to be built with Fire-resistant bricks on your site by our engineer.
Like you said the OMV has rebuilt the combustion already. It is mainly because the bricks have drop down which caused by the light oil sticks on the bricks. Such kind situation very less happens to other projects.
For this part, also we have made some update. such as the brick size was 11cm. Now we are using 23 cm bricks which is bigger twice than before.

To produce a higher standard and stable quality of gypsum powder, the calcination part is much more important part. Our engineer Mr. Xie invented the vertical kind of boiling furnace and has gained a patent for this technology. You can see the above picture: the gypsum powder test report from our domestic customer. The bending strength of powder is more than 3 Mpa, which is much higher than the Chinese national standard of 2.5 Mpa. So this is why the technology of the powder project is most important for you. Only with good powder, then you can produce good gypsum board!
